New to the American music scene, British singer-songwriter Jacob Banks has brought a unique sound from overseas that has caught the attention of the avid music listener. Originally appearing on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge as the first unsigned act to ever appear on the radio segment, Banks set himself apart with his music and powerful visuals, eventually signing with Interscope Records in 2016. His debut to the American listeners was through the critically acclaimed American TV series Suits on the USA Network, but recently, his work was featured on the Starz original show “Power” produced by 50 Cent. His song “Monster 2.0” remastered featuring fellow Interscope artist Boogie opened Season 4 Episode 1. Banks continues to deliver his unique British-Nigerian style, recently dropping a single “Unholy War” from his EP The Boy Who Cried Freedom. Check out Banks’ 2017 tour dates and cities here.
